To get to be with Benny, Luan does some switches in roles with some of her fellow classmates. After failing to do joke start-ups to get Luan back into doing comedy, Lincoln and the rest of his sisters must take drastic measures to get Luan back into her comedic roots. But if the girls win, then Lincoln has to stop his annoying habits forever. Meanwhile, Lisa disbelieves Lucy's fortune until an egg containing an owl with deer antlers falls in front of her and she has the park ranger arrange a press conference. After he receives help from Rita for building a step stool, Lincoln has a hard time putting together other wood works including building a dresser for Mrs.
Don't get me wrong, I like the episode, but I think it left some loose ends untied. Is that any better than lying?! Afraid of Lisa's reaction, Lincoln does not tell her against Charles' suggestion which sets off a chain reaction of events that unravels the entire household. Unfortunately, Lincoln's advice to some male students and the gym teacher, Coach Pacowski, go horribly awry. This is a slice-of-life comedy. And when that happens, they have no other option than to hurt him and have him react to that.
I mean, for fuck's sake, in this episode, Ronnie Anne is terrible! Yeah, this episode flat-out sucks. In order to prove himself to his dads, Clyde plans to go down the condemned Ramp of Insanity. And Lincoln is only at his best when he has somebody to play off of, or when he's being generous and helping people. However, she soon misses her family and wants to move back into the house. But more than anything else, this episode has awakened me to a bitter, devastating and sobering truth. They are foiled by Principal Huggins and Lincoln's sisters must help him and Clyde reclaim the comic so that it can be mailed before the deadline.
They work to find other hobbies to do, with comical results, because they also have a hard time giving up their past hobby. We were concerned about our friends having a good time, when we should've been concerned for you too. Because of this, the two fear that dating long distance isn't working out for them. The first time we see Ronnie Anne in action, we see her tie Lincoln's shoes together, she stuffs his locker full of garbage, she pantses him, she sticks gum in his hair and sticks food in his pants, and people laugh at him. He sighed in relief upon realizing he had their curiosity piqued. Worst of all, I no longer see any excuse for Ronnie Anne being a douche, not when they show to my face that she knows how to treat people with respect. When the bike ends up stolen, the two must find and return it before Lynn finds out.
Her pranks get so bad that a few of them could've gotten her siblings killed! But for Lincoln, what was supposed to be a simple plan quickly got out of control and ended in disaster. I can play that card too. I don't want to see Lincoln being shamed over not trusting her, I want to see how not being trusted affects Ronnie Anne. Lincoln is initially shocked, but then he comes clean and tells the truth to his four sisters. Upon arriving at his house, he noticed all the lights were off.
Meddling in your life is our job. On top of slamming him into the wall and potentially killing their chances of free waffles in the first minute if Lincoln had the egg on his person at that moment. Speaking of that double-standard, let's imagine if this episode had the gender roles reversed, imagine if it was about a girl getting attacked, pranked and harassed by a boy. The problem with Luan's style of comedy is that the joke got old and tiresome, and her jokes never got subverted in any humorous way, it didn't help that 90% of her role in episodes solely consisted of making another stupid pun and nothing else. List of The Loud House season 1 episodes and segments No. You guys remember my Japanese intro of my Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Review? I don't get why that's so difficult! I watched that episode, not a fan of it.
And even worse, and this is the really horrible part. I'm dead serious, she needed fresh undies. When his parents give him inconsistent information about it, Lincoln becomes suspicious, and he and Clyde try to get to the bottom of the missing info by asking Lincoln's five older sisters' their sides of the story. Now Lori fears that her future is in jeopardy because of this setback, so her siblings attempt to help her in any way they can before the tournament. She invents a pair of Lie-Detecting Glasses to correct their compulsive lying. He opens it, to see his sisters Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lucy. The sad part is that almost committing involuntary manslaughter of her own siblings wasn't the worst thing Luan did in this episode.
It was the night of the Sadie Hawkins Dance at Royal Woods Elementary School. Thanks for bringing that last part up, , that was a really valid point. Thankfully by Lori when Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lucy explain what happened and Lori rightfully call them out on their actions. This causes Lincoln to get jealous of their new antique hobby and friendship. To Lynn's surprise and anger, even Lincoln gets in on it! But it gets a litte tricky when Lynn Sr. Questions that just sadly make me hate Ronnie Anne even more.
Why wouldn't she want to be seen as nice in front of Lincoln, especially if she likes him?! Lincoln takes advantage of this at first, until the entire family begins taking their suspicion too seriously, forcing Lincoln to have to work to prove that he is not bad luck. Why would you just leave him to juggle four dates without helping him in some way?! Characters can be jerks as long as they legitimately learn something and become a better person. But when Lincoln finds out that he unwittingly promised Lola to help her out with something that isn't mentioned, Lincoln must find out what it is. If she puts all of this time to do chores for her mother and cook her a meal, then why doesn't she make food for Lincoln?! So then, going on that logic, the episode decides to treat Lincoln like the bad guy for not finding Ronnie Anne trustworthy. But his sisters soon find out about this and take advantage of that with their respective friends as well, causing Lynn Sr.
